ABOUT
I work with people, place, and the quiet passing of time.
Trained in fine art photography, my work has been awarded and collected nationally and internationally. That grounding shapes how I approach commissioned work — slowly, with intention, and with respect for the integrity of the image.
I am less interested in events than in atmosphere: how light settles in a room, how people move when they are no longer performing, the small moments that accumulate into memory.
A Day, Held is an extension of this practice into the domestic and personal sphere. I work quietly and unobtrusively, allowing the day to unfold as it naturally would, creating not a record of everything that happened, but a considered response to what it felt like to be there.
Based in Creswick, I work throughout Daylesford, Hepburn and the Macedon Ranges, and by invitation elsewhere.
Ash & Elm Studios is the home of my commissioned work. My fine art practice continues alongside this, exhibited and collected independently.
My work has been awarded and is held in private and public collections in Australia and internationally.
